Initial use review

Used my torch for the first time yesterday evening. Seemed to be more efficient at getting the charcoal lit than the previous torch I was using as well as a little sturdier. Will be interesting to see how well the tip will hold up, which has been a concern with the previous tool.

A Man's Toy

Used for the 1st time last night on my large BGE. Outside it was about 55F. 4 minutes to light the charcoal. 11 minutes later the egg was at temperature and bone in ribeye on the grill. I will be using the egg a lot more frequently now. It used to be just for big cooks that justified the time. Awesome product. The sound it makes when on is so cool.

Bought a rocket fire torch a couple weeks ago and during my camping trip to Canada, it stopped working. I sent an email inquiry & Michael responded right away. After troubleshooting, his company is sending me a new unit as a replacement! It stopped working because liquid propane had entered the device when I held it sideways while attempting to light a fire. Don’t do this guys! Hold it upright! Awesome customer support & product!
