Is the RocketFire safe?
The RocketFire has been through 6 years of development and safety testing and received a UL 147 standard safety certification in 2022. It’s safe!
Why is the RocketFire better than other starters?
The RocketFire uses a patented tri-flame stainless steel tip to spread 2000°F torch-fire within the charcoal/wood pile. No other starter does this.
Light charcoal and wood without the need for lighter fluid, kindlings, or matches.
Does the RocketFire work with cold propane?
The RocketFire will perform well in cold weather as long as the fuel has been stored in a warm environment. If your propane is cold, performance will decrease significantly and may not ignite.
What kind of fuel can I use?
The RocketFire has been UL tested with propane and Map-pro gas.
What fuel is better to use?
Propane is more accessible and less expensive, but Map-pro gas burns hotter and starts your fire quicker.
Where can I buy the fuel?
You can purchase propane and Map-pro gas at your local hardware store, Ace, Lowe’s, Home Depot And other department stores.
What’s the best way to light charcoal with the RocketFire?
We have found that leaving a hole in the middle of the charcoal pile (the donut method) and sticking the tri-flame tip in that hole to light is the fastest method.
Will the RocketFire damage my kamado style grill?
We have tested the RocketFire on Big Green Egg/Primo/Kamado Joe grills for 6 years with no issues.
Why do the flames on my RocketFire flicker or blow out when I’m lighting my charcoal grill?
The RocketFire must have oxygen to work properly. Please open up all vents to allow airflow when lighting your grill for best performance. You can also lower the fuel flow for better results.
Is the RocketFire safe to sear sous vide meat or finish crème brûlée?
Absolutely. We have many customers that use the straight flame for this purpose.The RocketFire should only be used outside.

How fast can I receive my new RocketFire Torch?
Once we receive your order, our fulfillment team will work quickly to get your torch sent out. Typically, you should receive your RocketFire in one week.

How do I cancel or edit an order?
While we cannot edit or cancel an order once it has been placed, we are happy to help you return an item in accordance with our return policy.

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.
When your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking number. You may also log in to your account to verify the status of your order.

Where do you ship?
At the moment, we offer free shipping on all new orders to the continental US. We unfortunately do not ship to Canada or internationally at the moment.
What's your return policy?
If for whatever reason you're not impressed with the RocketFire, you can return it for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
For any returns placed outside of the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, we will ask you to pay for shipping.
Prior to issuing a return, we'll do our best to help you with any issue you might be experiencing with the unit. If we can't help you, we'll gladly refund you the full amount.
